After multiple rain delays that paused the race for several hours, there was a repeat champion at Sunday’s Daytona 500.
William Byron won “The Great American Race” for a second straight year, adding to the 27-year-old’s already impressive résumé. A crash in the final lap allowed Byron to move from outside the top five and into the lead. Tyler Reddick finished second, while two-time winner Jimmie Johnson had a surprise third-place finish.
As Byron became the fifth racer to win back-to-back Daytona 500 races, here are the highlights from Daytona International Speedway!
