Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic is questionable to play in a road game against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night due to a left calf strain.
Doncic, 25, made his debut for the Lakers on Monday, collecting 14 points and four assists in 24 minutes of a 132-113 home victory over the Jazz.
Acquired in a blockbuster trade with the Dallas Mavericks on Feb. 2, Doncic had not played since Dec. 25 because of the calf injury.
A five-time All-Star, Doncic averaged 28.1 points, 8.3 rebounds and 7.8 assists in 22 starts for the Mavericks this season. Doncic’s career averages are 28.6 points, 8.7 rebounds and 8.3 assists in 423 games (all starts).
Fellow starters LeBron James (left ankle soreness) and Austin Reaves (left elbow contusion) are listed on the injury report as probable for Wednesday’s game. Reserve guard Bronny James (left forearm strain) also is probable.
The Jazz have ruled out starting guard Collin Sexton because of a left ankle sprain.
