Former footballer Joey Barton has been found guilty of assaulting his wife during an argument at their home in June 2021.
Barton had denied the charge of assault by beating. Westminster Magistrates Court was told that his wife, Georgia, suffered bleeding and bruising as a result of the incident.
Barton was in court to hear the verdict.
