New York (38-20) sits comfortably at the No. 3 spot, while Philadelphia is 12th with a 20-38 record.

Wednesday’s game is the third of four matchups between the teams. The Knicks lead the season series against the Sixers, 3-0. On Jan. 15, Brunson scored 38, while Maxey had 33 points.

Former MVP Joel Embiid was out again on Wednesday. He has only played in 19 games this season, and Philly is 8-11 in those games. Karl-Anthony Towns was sidelined for New York due to a left knee injury.
