If you are looking for a Super Bowl prop bet, there are a ton tied into player performance. I always find it more enjoyable to have a few bets that are tied to the game but on non-football related items. Whether it’s Travice Kelce proposing to you know who, or something else. It’s always a fun time.
What is a Super Bowl prop bet?
Prop betting, or propositional betting, allows you to bet on specific events that occur within a game, series, or regular season. These events do NOT include the outcome of the game itself, including the number of points. Instead, you can wager on the performance of individual players and teams (player props and team props), a wide range of statistics (game props), or even lighthearted propositions that honestly have very little to do with the game at hand
So, it really doesn’t matter if the Kansas City Chiefs or the Philadelphia Eagles win. You can bet on thing within the game.
There are so many exotic props out there to bet on when it comes to Super Bowl 59. I have gathered some Super Bowl props that you might have never heard of before. These are all real props that you can actually bet on in the offshore markets and offered by some traditional sports books.
“Bitcoin price between kickoff and final whistle”
Higher -120
Lower -120
This is one where you can study and make a decision. There will not be much price action during the Super Bowl. Bitcoin has been going up and down and basically moving sideways since November. During the last few weeks, Bitcoin prices have trended downward during the weekends. Anticipating the news could help you in a prop like this. If I were given a free bet on this, I would take the lower side on this short-term move.
“Gender of Unauthorized Person/Streaker on Field?”
Male -750
Female +450
Non-Binary +450
Although I don’t believe it will happen, if I were to bet on this, I would definitely eliminate “Non-Binary” as an option. Non-binary has been eliminated by President Trump, so it comes down to male or female. This is a fun Super Bowl prop, so I would take the plus money. Caution here: The sportsbook has the final say on the winning result since there is no official stat on this event. You are at the mercy of the sportsbook’s final decision.
“Official Power Outage in Superdome Again?”
Again, there is no official stat here, so the wording of this prop is key. Who will determine if this is an official power outage? This really comes into play because YES is +5000, while there is no option to bet NOThis final one could be the source of a lot of controversy. I would love to see who determines this prop—it will be the sportsbook.
“How many times will ‘rematch’ be said?”
Under 2.5 -180
Over 2.5 +140
The books put out props like these because people who bet on them want to get plus money on this type of prop. When you look at the rules, it specifies that the word “rematch” must be said. Again, you are at the mercy of the sportsbook. Do we really know when the broadcast starts? It does not say “during the game”; it says “during the broadcast.”
“Times Will Tom Brady’s Voice Crack During the Game?”
Under 2.5 voice cracks -200
Over 2.5 voice cracks +150
The only reason I would bet the under is because the sportsbook might have more liability on the over since it is at plus money.
Conclusion – Just have fun!
There are so many Super Bowl props added every year. These are just a small fraction of some of the fun props out there. I would rather stick with the props that have an official stat. These can be fun, but remember—every sportsbook has the last word when there is no official stat on the prop.
