Lilia Vu and Charley Hull enter the final round of the 2023 AIG Women’s Open with a one-stroke lead over the rest of the field. They are both nine under par, one stroke ahead of both Angel Yin and Hyo Joo Kim who are tied for third place. This week’s championship Sunday is the final round of a major tournament in the 2023 LPGA Tour season. In the other four major tournaments, there was a new winner each time starting with Vu, then Yin Ruoning, Allisen Corpuz and most recently, Celine Boutier. There is a chance for a two-time major winner in Vu, with all four of the others at least eight strokes back after the third round of play. For Hull, she has won two tournaments on the LPGA Tour, including the 2016 CME Group Tour Championship.
